The Self-Spotting machine has been built by Ironmaster for over 25years and the Ironmaster IM2000 represents years of development and refinements.

This patented design offers several advantages over Smith Machines. There is no binding due to the patented slide rail and bushing system. The bar slides on nylon bushes that only require clean to touch silicone spray to maintain quiet and smooth operation.

The ergonomic lifting bar locks out forwards instead of backwards for a much faster and more natural movement. The lock out holes are only 1.7inch apart so you will never get stuck when working out alone.

The light weight lifting bar needs no complex counterweight system. This allows a dramatically reduced footprint, greater load capacity and a smoother quieter operation.

The Ironmaster IM2000 is constructed from 11 gauge steel and is tested and rated to 1000lbs. The base kit includes standard plate holders (olympic sleeve adapters are available), lat pull bar, upper and lower pulley/cable system.

The Pec Dec Attachment is designed to fit on the Ironmaster IM2000 Self Spotting Machine to perform isolation chest flyes. This device works the pectoral muscles and provides an even resistance that you cannot duplicate with free weights. It uses the main lifting bar as the weight source in a similar manner to the standard upper pulley cable system. The system capacity is limited by the 350lb cable system rating.

To use the Pec Dec, you will need to have 24" of clearance behind the machine from the spine tube to the wall. (Pull the base of the machine 14" away from the wall.)
